Jewellery Care

  • When replacing the jewellery after use, wipe it with a DRY cotton cloth to restore its shine.

  • Never Keep your kundan-polki jewellery with naphthalene vapors react with the metal and thus tarnish it.

  • Clean your fine jewellery regularly by soaking it in warm soapy water using a mild detergent.

  • Protect it from excessive humidity. Dampness causes the metal in the setting to tarnish and the enamel to crack.

  • Handle the silk chor used to adjust the length of the necklace with care. Never wet the chord as it causes the zari in it to discolor.

  • Always store bead necklaces (such as lapis,pearls,etc) flat as silk stretches over time. Also, this avoids kinks and knotting various chains together.

  • As Diamonds is the hardest mineral, it can scratch your other diamonds, pearls and gemstones when in contact hence do not pile your jewellery on top of each other while storing.

  • Take off your jewellery before cleaning or participating in athletic activities, specially while swimming pool. The chlorine can cause damages to various gemstones and gold. Gemstones may become loose in their setting (and possible fall out).

  • Avoid Storing your jewellery next to a heating vent, window sill or on a car dashboard. Sunlight can cause many colored gemstones to fade.

  • Always be gentle with your jewellery. Never tug on gem setting or toss your pieces carelessly in a pile-you may loosen your gem settings, and your pieces may wind up nicked and scratched.

  • Don't wear fine jewellery when doing housework or gardening.

  • Always wear jewellery after make-up. Don't apply perfume etc. after wearing the jewellery.

  • As diamonds is the hardest mineral. It can scratch your other diamonds.

  • Don't buy Real-Diamond Jewellery from Door-To-Door vendors. As there is no surety that You find them for any type of after sale services or at the time you want to resale/remake the Jewellery.
